On River Time hosts its main fundraiser, “Casting Hope” in the fall each year in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition, we are blessed to have supporters across the country host events to benefit the work we do. Sporting Clays Event
We are so thankful to have an active Junior Board made up of young professionals who are passionate about supporting the kids we serve. Their Sporting Clays Event at Selwood Farm has become one of our favorite events. Make your calendar and start forming your team for next year! Terrier Claims Golf Tournament
Terrier Claims Services, based in New Jersey holds a Charity Golf Tournament every year, and On River Time is grateful to have been a recipient the past several years, thanks in large part to Dan Sullivan, On River Time board member. The event is held at Essex County Country Club in West Orange, NJ. It features a shotgun start followed by cocktails and dinner at the country club.
Casting 4 the Kids
We are so grateful to our board members with the Excel Group in Baton Rouge for the work they do raising support for On River Time. Their event, Casting 4 the Kids, has been one of our largest fundraisers, featuring a live and silent auction and fund a need.
Wine Dinners
We are honored to have Axel Schug, of Schug Carneros Winery as one of our board members. Axel is a dear friend and great supporter of On River Time. Our Wine Dinner, hosted by the On River Time Junior Board, featured the Sonoma Wines of the Schug Carneros Estate.
We have also had devoted partners host wine dinners in their homes to raise awareness and support for On River Time.
Calcutta
Calcutta is a fishing contest that was created by our founder, Steve Davis, through an annual trip to The Lodge at Palisades Creek with multiple friends and clients. Participants “bet their boat” and challenge one another to catch the most fish. All proceeds go to On River Time. Our 2019 winners, Steve and Axel Schug caught 56 trout and raised $27,000 for On River Time! That’s a lot of fish!
