This Was Supposed to Be Our Scene
This was supposed to be our scene today. Picking up kids from the airport in Idaho Falls for On River Time camp. Kids who have overcome so much adversity were about to experience one of the best weeks of their lives. Unfortunately, this day is different this year, thanks to COVID-19. For kids who have survived a difficult past, it's one more heartache, one more disappointment they must face.
BUT HOPE REMAINS
On River Time was created to provide hope and healing to children who have overcome abuse and neglect. It is our deepest longing to be able to fulfill that mission. We look forward to when we can host camp again, possibly in October. In the meantime, we have worked to create programming for the kids while they're quarantined at the different ranches.
This sweet girl from Big Oak Ranch enjoys creating a new bracelet as part of On River Time's new "Sunshine Sessions", programming created for the kids while in quarantine. Our thanks to Lucy Farmer from Lucy's Inspired for providing the bracelet kits and tutorial video.
In addition, as we do every year, we are looking forward to celebrating this year's high school graduates with the gift of On River Time college and career scholarships.
YOU play a crucial role in providing hope for these children. You are our heroes who make the work we do possible. During this time of uncertainty, would you consider a recurring monthly gift of just $10 to help provide hope and healing to kids who survived abuse and neglect?
